Site History
I got into graphic designing on the beloved old Neopets in a guild called StrutIt. From there on, I started making celeb guild layouts for alot of guilds, and I gradually started getting better. I got numerous piczo sites and very bad freeweb sites until I decided to leave websites and go back to Neopets. I then met a girl on there called Dani, and we made our own site together called eye!candi and it went really well! We started off as a freewebs site, then got hosted by Janey. Finally, Dani bought a domain, and we became eyexcandi.com. It went really well until it got closed by Dani, and we went our separate ways, although we remained friends.
I then decided to make my own graphics site, Alienstarship. It started off also as a freewebs site, until the lovely Amy commented on my site one day, with a very random comment! It was something like...
Heyy, nice site. OMG we share the same birthday!
It made me laugh, and I went to check out her site. I saw she was open for hosting, so I thought, its worth a try, and filled the form out. About two days later, I have a new msn contact wanting to add me, I hadn't got a clue who it was, but I added them to find out... what a good thing I did! Because it was Amy! We got talking, and she offered to host me! I was so happy! I don't think I could have asked for a better host!!
But, all good things come to an end, and Amy closed somerush. So I went looking for a new host, and found Anna. And this is where Alienstarship moved to, for several months. However, my school work and real life started to get abit out of control, and I had to close. But that didn't stop me making little bits and bobs out of boredom. I then realised that I needed a site, so I had something to do.
By this time, Connor was owning somerush, and we were really good friends. I told him that I was looking for a host, and he jumped at the idea. I think he got my site up in record time! He was amazing. And so here I am!
Behind The Name
Alienstarship*
The name started out as my DeviantArt account name, picked out by Dani. I really liked it, so I decided to use it as my website name.
As for this site, I'm not sure of it's name yet. Since I am addicted to The Twilight Saga, it will probably be based on the books. But nothing is for certain!
